Curious but unsurprising language coming from Forbes Magazine. I suppose "less affluent" as opposed to "poorer" fails to get the point across. These men who have lost the wealth of nations, are they deserving of our sympathy? Certainly few are able to empathize. And what of those "poor" folk who have dropped out of that exclusive 10-digit-wealth club--all 332 of them? One can only imagine their suffering.
On a side note, "just like the rest of us" doesn't apply to me--I keep my dough in a savings account. I may be a mere thousandaire, but at least I don't rely on gambling for personal wealth accrual.
